The Business Development Executive drives the sales process and outcomes on a dedicated basis, growing a profitable pipeline and/or backlog of sales, through deal origination, sales negotiations, and closure. Develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new clients; protect and grow the business. Act as point of contact for resolution and escalation of all key items with the client and internally.

A professional at this position within SPAATech has the following responsibilities

  1. Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
  2. Keep prospective client database updated
  3. Make calls for new business leads
  4. Support in writing new business proposals
  5. Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
  6. Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
  7. Follow company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers, submission of tenders, etc.
  8. Involved in setting strategic directions to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
  9. Manages large teams and/or work efforts at a client or within SPAATech.
  10. Traveling domestically and internationally may be required

Qualifications

  1. Minimum of 8 years selling/closing Information Technology outsourcing deals in ERP Solutions, Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence domain
  2. Minimum of 8 years of Client Relationship and delivery experience
  3. Minimum of 8 years selling into any or all the following industries: Manufacturing, Transportation, Hospitality, Media, Financial Services, Health Care, and Public Services.

Professional Qualifications:

  1. Someone with experience developing, maintaining and obtaining meetings with new and existing C-Level relationships beyond CIO
  2. Must possess strong customer service skills
  3. Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  4. Must have good negotiation skills
  5. Must be able to create good presentations
  6. Must be detail oriented and an active listener
  7. Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
  8. High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work well under pressure.
  9. Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities.
  10. Professional of unquestionable integrity, credibility, and character.
